A）按要求转换下列句型，每空一词。

填didn't；because。上句是so连接的并列句，这种句子可转换成because引导的原因状语从句。注意：在汉语中常说“因为……所以……”，在英语中，不可说because．．．so．．．，两者只能用其中之一。

填are closing。上句是现在进行时，下句必为现在进行时，故第一空填are。are后面是现在分词，到底用keeping还是closing呢？根据同义句原则，一看句意，便知答案。
