十一、动名词的逻辑主语
动名词短语之前可以有一个物主代词或名词所有格来表示它的逻辑主语;如果这个逻辑主语不处在句子的开头,在非正式语体中,用代词的宾格或名词的普通格更为自然:
Their coming to help was a GREat encouragement to us . 他们来支援对我们是很大的鼓舞。
I don't care mother/mother's/her grumbling. 母亲(她)嘟嘟囔囔,我不在意。
in an atmosphere of simple living was what her parents wished for.
