What power does the skunk have to frighten an enemy away? It gets rid of danger by giving off a liquid that smells terrible into the air. When an enemy comes too close, the skunk lifts its tail and gives a warning with its front claw. If the enemy is foolish enough to stay around, the skunk gives a liquid, the smell of which is so bad that even the skunk leaves the scene in a hurry.
