Terry, a title winner in 2005 and 2006, feels his side will use memories of last season as inspiration as they bid to notch a fourth title in the Blues\' history.
"Just talking about it makes the blood boil," Terry told Chelsea TV. "But you assess it and we haven\'t had a bad season due to things that have happened with injuries.
"When you look at it like that, maybe you can look at it in a positive way."
While Sir Alex Ferguson has already outlined his desire to notch a 10th Premier League title, Terry has his heart set on regaining a trophy he feels is synonymous with his club.
"There is no point in saying \'If we had players back\' or \'If this didn\'t happen or that didn\'t happen we would have beaten Manchester United\'," he said.
"We haven\'t and that makes me more determined to come back next year and really fight and push Man United and get the trophy back we feel is ours."
