参考作文：A traffic accident

On my way home yesterday, I saw a terrible traffic accident. When I was walking across a road, I heard a big noisy behind me. I turned round and found that it was an accident. A red car coming out of a parking-place hit a man. The man was lying on the ground and cried. Perhaps the driver drove too fast I thought, the lights in the front of the car were broken. The driver was so afraid that he didn’t even get out of his car and quickly ran away. An old man nearby saw that and wrote down the number of the car at once. Then he called the police. Two policemen arrived five minutes later. We helped send the injured  man to hospital. The policemen copied the car number the old man had written down and went to catch the driver immediately。
