The sun is not a bed when I
At night upon my pillow lie;
Still round the earth his way he takes,
And morning after morning makes.
While here at home,in shining day ,
We round the sunny garden play .
Each little Indian sleepyhead
Is being kissed and put to bed.
And when at eve I rise from tea,
Day daw ns beyond the Atlantic Sea;
And all the children in the West
Are getting up and being dressed.

我依着柔枕彻夜安睡,
太阳却不曾进入梦乡;
她把足迹踏遍大地,
这才有黑夜的深沉,白昼的明朗。
我们在家园里嬉戏,
尽兴地晒着太阳。
贪睡的印第安小宝贝
妈妈吻别抱上床。
喝罢晚茶起身的时候,
大西洋彼岸已披上曙光;
西方的孩子们忙起床,
